Pink Slips in Rutherford
If your car is five years old or more, you'll need a pink slip, officially an eSafety check, before you can renew your NSW registration. We carry out authorised inspections at our Rutherford workshop, so you can book in, get it done and get on with your day. The result is lodged electronically with Transport for NSW, ready for you to renew your rego.
What's included
Pink Slips at SAI Motor Works
A pink slip checks the things that keep a car safe on the road: tyres, brakes, lights, steering, suspension, windscreen, wipers, seatbelts and more. It isn't a full mechanical inspection, so if you'd like a closer look at the engine or gearbox, ask about booking a service at the same visit.
If something doesn't pass, we'll show you what failed and quote the fix. Common items are worn tyres, blown globes and tired wiper blades, and many of these can be sorted on the spot.

- Your rego renewal notice says an inspection is required
